Patricia (Hamilton) Freeman trained at the Sir John Cass College in London. She now works as a silversmith and jeweller in Oxfordshire, specializing in tableware and small domestic objects.
Patricia especially enjoys working in hand raised silver. She makes pieces which are both sculptural and organic, but which are intended for daily use. The expression of movement in her work is a constant aim, and takes various forms, for instance in chasing and piercing. The small pierced fish which adorn the edge of one of her hammered silver bowls are a good example of the latter. Commissions are welcomed and enjoyed. Prices range from £20 - £2,000
Patricia has exhibited widely in Europe and America including the Chelsea Crafts Fair and Goldsmith's Hall, London, Paris, Frankfurt, Dallas and Los Angeles.
